This morning’s job was creating an animation of Watson’s laptop screen for the airport cafe scene. First, we needed a corporate website for Grazp Pharmaceuticals (complete with dino footprint logo, ResQgeek‘s slogan, and a photo of Grazp HQ):

Next, Watson needs to unencrypt as much of the Challenger journal as he can and find references to the water – it’s a crucial clue:

And, while we’re on the subject of animating laptop screens, take a look at Noteboek, a brilliant animation by Evelien Lohbeck that turns a paper notebook into a computer notebook (via @roncharles).

Aileen’s disguised herself as a delivery person from a courier company to sneak into Grazp Pharmaceuticals. We swithered for a while over whether she needed a different colour t’shirt to complete the disguise, and eventually went for green.

Trike Couriers’s mascot is Samuel the Triceratops, named in honour of one of the readers of The Lost World Quick Read Edition, who used a password from the book to get into this secret post and tell us that his favourite dinosaur is the Triceratops. Thanks, Samuel!

Honestly, you lot have definitely got alternative careers as advertising gurus! We asked for a new slogan for evil corporation Grazp Pharmaceuticals. We’ve shortlisted:

1. Grazp a younger you! – a brilliant suggestion from ResQgeek.

2. Grazp: Keeping Beauty Eternal – very clever reference, Siobhan.

3. Grazp the secret of inner beauty – nice, discoverylover.

4. You’re looking younger already – good thinking, Snaknap.

Which works best? It’s up to you – vote now in the sidebar poll on the right.

And, you’ve also decided that the dinosaur footprint logo does belong to Grazp (77% of the vote) – which means that their influence extends well beyond face creams. The logo has been seen branding: bus unholstery, phones, coffee, laptops, planes and even an airport. Scary!Episode 4: models

Here at Binary Fable this week we’re making props and sets for episode 4.

First up: we need to design a website for Grazp Pharmaceuticals. You can still vote to decide whether the dino footprint is the company’s logo – the poll’s in the sidebar. Once the logo’s decided, what about a strapline? We’ve used “Reaching out for you” in Grazp’s bus adverts. But, I think Grazp could do with a new slogan.

So, what would be the perfect strapline for this evil multinational corporation – a pharmaceuticals company that will destroy books to protect its profits? Let us have your ideas
