Soundtrack Competition Rules

1. Open to all around the world, with age categories defined as:

• Category A – Under 12 years
• Category B – 12-15 years
• Category C – 16-18 years
• Category D – Adult

2. Entries should be a soundtrack for episode 1 of The Lost Book.

3. Submission forms should be emailed to thelostbook@sco.org.uk by 5pm GMT on Friday 26 June 2009.

3. Submission videos should be uploaded to www.blip.tv (see PDF guide).

4. We will not accept submission videos by post or email.

5. Scottish Chamber Orchestra will select the winning entrant on Monday 20 July 2009.

6. Winners will receive an emailed certificate and an SCO goodie bag.

7. The judges’ decision is final and we will not enter into any correspondence.

8. By entering, you grant to us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use your soundtrack in any media and, specifically, to make the winning entries available via www.thelostbook.net, www.cityofliterature.com and www.sco.org.uk. The winning entries may also be collected and reproduced in other media in the future.

9. The Scottish Chamber Orchestra will collect email addresses, postal addresses, names and category ages and store them according to existing Data Protection policy.

10. Only first names, age categories and country will be posted on www.thelostbook.net, www.cityofliterature.com and www.sco.org.uk.
