We’re fast approaching this week’s deadline for the microstory competition. Can you write 100 words in 6 hours?!
If you’ve no idea what I’m talking about, check out the microstory competition page. We’re asking you to write the story of the book that has been stolen. It’s the journal of Sally Challenger’s 2004 expedition to Arthur Conan Doyle’s lost world – guest writer Jasper Fforde has written two intriguing articles to get you started.
The first entry in the expedition journal has been written by Matthias and tells us about Saturday 01 May 2004. We need to know what happened on Sunday the 2nd! If you can tell us in exactly 100 words, email your diary entry to 100words@cityofliterature.com by 4pm GMT today. Include your first name or nickname, age (if under 19), and postcode/ZIP code in the email (full rules).
