Books lost and found Wednesday, 11 February 2009

Copies of The Lost World have been turning up all around the world, thanks to BookCrossing.com. One arrived in London on Monday where okarih will be reading it and passing it on. Another copy is with hippolein in Helsinki. A third has made it all the way to Toronto where crazy-book-lady is its first reader.

There are also copies of The Lost World out there in the wild. Yesterday, inspired by the Lost Worlds Display in St Andrew Square, Edinburgh, we set five copies free in the poetry garden. We’re hoping some of them check in!
If you’re near Filmhouse in Lothian Road tonight about 7pm we’ll be leaving a couple of copies in the foyer or cafe/bar. Filmhouse is screening The Lost World – the classic silent version with brilliant and ground breaking stop motion dinosaurs – on 21 February.
