We have our first winner, and the first entry in Sally Challenger’s journal (the book that has been stolen)!
Congratulations Matthias, who wrote about Saturday, 01 May 2004 from the viewpoint of Major Ramón Pedilla (ex-Venezuelan air force, pilot of the Otter aircraft and ex-boyfriend of Sally Challenger). The competition was pretty tough, but the judges at Edinburgh UNESCO City of Literature Trust loved Matthias’s approach.
