Hi, I’m Adam. I’m one of the creators of The Lost Book.
Since you are all going to be involved, we want to tell you the story of how we are putting together The Lost Book animation. We’ve been working on it for a while and it’s starting to get really interesting. See Kyle here, for example. He looks a bit like a walking chess board right now, but he’s about to join our other characters on (virtual) set, to be animated.

You’ll be hearing a lot more about how we do it, but I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. Keep watching!
Oh, and, this image at the bottom? We’ll be using this progress bar in all our ‘making of…’ posts, to show you where we’ve got to – and how far we’ve still got to go!

HI Adam! What a wonderful project you have! I am adding a comment because I couldn’t see another form of direct contact. I am a bit tickled by all this because my name is Aileen Adler and I am quite curious how you came upon that name for your main character? This seems like a wonderful project! If you ever get bored and need to be entertained you should check out my webpage http://www.thereminforthemasses.com I play a wonderful instrument called the THEREMIN~ see one of the things the human form of Aileen Adler is involved in.
Anyway, i look forward the the adventures of the animated Aileen Adler!
Regards!
Hi Aileen! Brilliant to hear from you! It’s great to know that Aileen has a Theremin-playing namesake. Our Aileen is named after Irene Adler, a fictional character created by Arthur Conan Doyle and one of the few people to outwit Sherlock Holmes. More info: http://thelostbook.net/about/faqs/#AileenName
